OKay, i love my image but i also care about other things so dont think i'm an all around glamour girl, but anyway. I dont know whaat to do to make my hair undamaged, there are so many products out there and i dont know what to do, i have to straighten my hair everyday other wise i look like a mess so please someone help!

I've recently fallen in love with Pantene's Pro-V's Restorative line. They put out separate shampoo/conditioner combinations for different problems:
"Time Renewal" which can help undo a lot of the damage we've done to our poor hair.
"Breakage Defense" which helps maintain strong hair and stop breakage
and "Frizz Control" which...obviously, controls frizz!
I would seriously check our their Restoratives line. I've been doing all sorts of damage on my hair for the past few years, and after using this line for like...a month and a half, my hair's great.

the best way to keep ur hair from getting even more damaged is to wash ur hair 3 times a weak. by letting ur hair getting just a little greasy, u are letting the natural oils sing in and heathen ur hair.

Go to the hairdresser, they have all the good products you may need to cut off some if its really burnt and they can give you some products to use prior to straighting.

try some sort of smoothing milk, avoid straighting it or curling it and get the end trimmed every few weeks....once its healthy go get it permanently straightened, like a perm but not curly.

dont use products which come in a range just coz they look nice
- use mosturising shampoo and conditioner like pantene PRO V ot herbal essences HELLO HYDRATION
- use leave in conditioner or hair serum to protect ur hair against the sun and wind
- use hair mask like Loreal or kerastase twice a week
- do hot oil treatment using VO5 or olive oil once a week
- trim ur hair after every 8-10 weeks to stop split ends from developing
- dont use chemicals like dyes, bleaches or relaxers
- keep away from electric appliances likr straighteners or curling iron

After you wash your hair spray a leave-in conditioner in your hair then let it air dry. Next, spray a heat protector on your hair before straightening it. Also, the ceramic straighteners are the best.

Straightening your hair is probably the main reason your hair is damaged. So you should experiment with some different styles that suit you but don't involve using heat in your hair. I would suggest you trim the edges of your hair where the hair is really really damaged and keep care of it. I don't kno if this really helped you but i hope it did.

i had the same problem. first you need to get your ends trimmed and regularly get this done. try to use the hair iron at a low setting! try to wash your hair every other day. if you have to wash it every day then use a good shampoo and condinitor. i use john fredia and i loooooove it! i love the john fredia smothing milk. you can buy all his stuff at target. its a little pricy but its worth it!

I was there a month ago. I straighten is Terrible. heat damage only makes its worse. deep conditioning help. get a damaged shampoo and conditioner and get you ends cut.. or do what I did cut off all the damaged.. which was everything but 3 inches. but now my hair is healthier and grows really fast now.

quit straightening it everyday! use a anti-humectant spray prior to straightening and it will last longer. glide your flat iron over a few times quickly not slowly to avoid too much intense heat. you can use a good conditioner with human hair protein such as Joico kpak, (i recommend it because it can actually molecular bond with your own hair better than nanoized plant proteins) but the real resolve is to trim, trim and trim again. keeping hair trimmed keeps the ends from breaking and splitting and so the hair actually seems to grow faster and fuller.

obviously your not going to stop straightening it so make sure you use a heat protector, a deep conditioner every couple days and if you can cut an inch or so off your ends.

just condition everyday! the more you condition the better it will get. make sure you get your hair trimmed at least once a month and get a deep condition treatments at least once a month(vo5 makes a great hot oil treatment that works wonders..
what works for me is applying a heat tool protectant to the hair when its still damp..i use John Freida's thermal protection serum(its a little orange serum) before and after i flat iron or curl my hair I'm a hot tools junkie:)
i also use a clarifying shampoo twice a week to fortify my hair(pantene clarifying shampoo) and don't condition when you do this.
