I feel really bad, but I think my day care lady hates the gift I got her for Christmas. I really thought she'd like it, but I don't think so. I got her a Lancome gift bag with travel size products inside and a set of professional hair care products. I mentioned that there was more coming at the end of the week (a card and family dinner gift cert) but she said what I got already was enough. I suspect she didn't like the gift because she mentioned other people and other gifts, but not hers from me. What do I do now? Should I ask her if I insulted her somehow? Or just forget it??

You should absolutely NOT feel bad! You did the best you could, you selected a nice, appropriate gift for her. I wish somebody would give me one of those Lanacome gift bags ;)
Also some people are just a little shy about appearing overenthusiastic and get overwelmed. I don't know about your lady but perhaps that could be what happened.
