I am a male and I have had trouble growing my hair long. I have short wavy and frizzy hair. I have tried growing it out before for about 3 months, but all it seemed to do was frizz and puff outward. It did not grow down at all. I need tips and steps to try and grow my rough hair out long. I need to know what kind of products would be the best and how to take care of my hair. I was going for a look that would be sort of like Heath ledgers long hair. Thanks for the help!

You might have split ends (?because sometimes thats why hair goes frizzy) but if you dry your hair with a towel do it as if you were crunching some crackers up instead of going mental on it.
Or if you use a hair dryer wait until its at least 70% dry so it doesn't get as damaged.
Oh and hair splits faster than it grows so go to the hairdressers or get some one to trim it a bit every 6-8 weeks and it will grow faster. Or tell the hair dresser how you want it and they might have some better ideas.
But it could be some totally different reason??

My mom has the same problem! What u have to do is keep ur hair short.There is not other option for guys.

My suggestion would be to go get it cut. Tell your hair dresser that you want it to grow longer rather than outward. They will then be able to give the haircut for you that will do that. You can also bring a pix of Heath Ledgers hair, and they can literally copy it for you...
