I'm thinking of having a beauty themed party for girlfriends. I thought it would be fun for everyone to bring a small gift basket with 5 of their favorite beauty items, ( hair products, moisturizers, makeup, skin care, ect) and then play some sort of game where everyone gets someone else's basket.
Besides that, what are some things we could do do further the beauty theme?
I really don't want to hire outside parties to come, like a pedicurist or a manicurist. Looking for things we can do ourselves or things I can provide for the guests. Thanks so much for any ideas!

Or you could all try a bit of each others 5 items? That would be a good way for people to sample different products that they wouldnt normally come accross.
You could have a range of beauty treatments going on through the evening, like nail painting and if anyone knows head massaging then that would be very relaxing too!
Its a nice idea - wish one of my friends would do that!

you could all present your baskets. and tell everyone why you all love each item in the basket. swap beauty tips. maybe raffle off all the baskets and swap them at the party, them give each other makeovers with the new baskets of stuff?
maybe have a spa themed beauty party? you could all come in in the fluffy robes and give each other diy facials? make smoothies?
