I permed my hair for the first time about ten months ago, and I'd dyed it about three months before... I've gotten most of the SEVERE damage cut off, but my hair is still really damaged. I want to be able to get another perm, and I want to be able to take care of it on my tight budget... What are the best products to use, including brand names, prices, and where I can find them?

Sometimes its all about the two points. Anyway, you could try Big Silky Sexy Hair shampoo and conditioner, its moderately priced and it will soften your curls with out weighing them down. Its good for any hair type and they also have curl lotion for curly or straightening serum for sleek. If you can't afford a leave-in conditoner in addition to the regular then just make your own with 1part conditioner and 10 parts water in a spray bottle.( it makes a good curl refresher too for the day after you wash)
