I get fairly large pimples on my upper back/shoulders and it's gross! It makes me feel uncomfortable in taktops. What can I do? My hair care products could be the problem since my hair hangs about where i'm having the problems, but I'd prefer to do something that doesn't involve getting rid of what I use!! I would tell you to scrub your back really hard in the shower with a loofah and dial soap, not let your hair touch your bare back (whenever i have conditioner in my hair in the shower i pile it on top of my head so that it doesn't touch my skin) and I just found out that they make this acne body spray...how cool it that? Don't let your hair touch your skin until after it is mostly dry/styled. I would also invest in a tea-tree oil based acne/blemish stick. Also, I would look into buying a acne/oil removing body wash (Nuetrogena).

Try a loofah to gently exfoliate and get rid of dead cells that may be clogging your pores. Also try a medicated body wash - there are some that are made just for this problem. I know Proactiv makes one, but there are also some in stores.

Well, if you know that your hair products cause you the pimples, thenm you have no choice - get rid of them.Otherwise you'd be trying to get rid of the symptoms while the cause of the problem would not let you do so.
By the way, pimples are caused when there is a wax plug in the pore of the hair follicle that clogs. Oil and other stuff remain near the hair follicle and cause an inflamation of teh skin near it - this is what the pipmles are. Therefore, it will be a good idea to use some king od antiseptic liquid to clean regularly the problem area. Make sure it does not have too much alcohol in it, because it may stimulate the oil glands and the problem may worsen.
If you can find any (because I know it is difficult), search in the drug stores for special soaps with sulphur or tar - they stink like hell but helped me get rid of my worst acne problems - th epimples. The trick is to use them only once a day, ptreferably at night, and be consistent.
Actually, acne is a kind of ailment in skin that can nt be fully stopped, so just know that for the next few years it wll be there, so do not worry that much. Do your best to keep your skin clean, and it will be much better,

Try to tie up your hair to avoid touching the pimples area. It could also be due to the hair products you are using. Sweat could have cause it thus try to shower at least 3 times a day. Afterwhich apply pimple lotion daily.

personally if i was in the same situation i would buy face pads which contain chemicals that cleanse but dry out the infected pore...
i would use that and just rub it in the area on my back and shoulder. it will dry out the pimple and heal it as well as clean the dirt and oils around or in it. remember to keep your hair up if you are doing this.
oils from your hair or where you sit or just anywhere can create more and more soo keep your hair back until cleared up.
